Morne Coubaril

Morne Coubaril (3 km. south of Soufiere) – this is another 18th century estate that was granted to its original owners by Louis XIV in the early 1700s. This estate offers a glimpse of farm life in previous centuries – with cocoa, coconut, and manioc still grown on the premises. Visitors are offered an awe-inspiring view of the nearby mountains and Soufriere harbor. There is also an open-air restaurant where lunch is served. Admission: $7 ($20 with lunch). Hours: daily from 8 am – 5 pm.
